The Boston Massachusetts LDS-Mormon Temple HD

The Beautiful Boston, Massachusetts Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the 100th Operating temple of the church being dedicated on October 1st, 2000. The dedication of this temple met the goal made by President Gordon B. Hinckley, 15th President of the church, to have 100 operating temples by the end of the year 2000, Two more temples would be dedicated after this one. The temple is not "officially" in Boston. It is located in the suburbs, in Belmont, right next to the Belmont Chapel which houses the Belmont 1st & 2nd Wards along with the Arlington Ward, in the Cambridge, Massachusetts Stake of Zion. Located along Route 2, also known as the Concord Turnpike, the temple is in plain view to the many drivers that pass at that turn of the highway since the temple is located at the highest part of the site. The Temple grounds were purchased in the 1950's by the church to build a chapel. The church wanted the chapel to be built on the highest point of the land, but the chapel architect refused many times. He was quoted to say that, if the church wanted it on the top of the hill, they would need to find a new architect. The church chose to stick with the architects plan. In 1992 announced plans to build a regional temple in Hartford, Connecticut. Those plans were replaced when the church announced that they wanted to build two temples instead of one to better accommodate the members in the area. Animation is an effective tool for courtroom presentations. In this video, a portion of an animation which was used at trial is discussed by Massachusetts personal injury lawyer Marc Breakstone. The animation shows the intersection where the bus accident happened and how the accident happened. The animation uses an investigator's photograph which authenticates the accuracy of the reconstruction. The case involved a serious injury to the plaintiff, who had the right of way in the intersection. She suffered an amputation of her leg with lasting complications. The trial resulted in a verdict of $3.87 million. The case was tried by Boston bus accident attorney Marc Breakstone.
